Off Piste
The ultimate freedom – you have always wanted to experience the fascination of off-piste skiing? Our well-trained ski instructors will introduce you to the world of Freeriding. Beginners will learn the basics of off-piste skiing and advanced skiers will benefit from the experience of our long-time ski instructors.
Saftey First
Safety first. Before enjoying your first ride in fresh powder, we will show you how to correctly use the safety equipment, how to recognise alpine dangers and how to choose the right terrain.
Skills
Precondition for a safe ride (in parallel position) on red slopes. The terrain will be chosen adequately according to your skill set, weather and snow conditions. A helmet is compulsory! We recommend you to use freeride / all-mountain skis for an optimal ride in deep snow. We further recommend you to wear a back protector.
Mogul Slope
Mogul skiing is usually not one of the most popular types of skiing and unanimously regarded as difficult discipline. It is true that mogul skiing requires profound technical and physical capabilities. Nevertheless, mogul skiing forms an integral part of the wider skiing skill set as it enables to practice certain basic techniques such as bending/ stretching the knees as well as supports the muscle development.
Racing
If you are group who would like to advance in the field of ski racing, we are pleased to train you in the discipline of giant slalom. We are looking forward to welcoming motivated ski racers of any age. As condition for an efficient race practice, we usually check for solid basic skiing skills, physical fitness as well as the willingness for intense practice. Please let us know if you have any questions with the selection of adequate skis, sportswear or equipment.
Telemark
Telemark skiing was first practiced around 1870 in Southern Norway and represents a very original skiing technique that combines elements of Alpine and Nordic skiing. This elegant way of locomotion requires a high degree of body control and balance as well as a harmonious movement sequence. Even though learning this skiing technique may appear challenging, we promise that it will be even more rewarding once you master those unique lunging or “free heel” turns on your way down the slopes. Whether you are at beginner or intermediate level – our guides are pleased to arrange an adequate program for you.
